Everyone must wear a mask, irrespective of whether one has been vaccinated or not. We all know wearing a mask is not exactly comfortable but most people get used to it quite quickly. It also compensates for the lack of social distancing. Wearing the right mask, the right way helps protect not only the people around but the wearer as well. it is important to have a snug fitting mask. this means the air you breathe in and out will be pushed through the mask’s fabric layer so that the virus particles are likely to get trapped in the mask rather than be inhaled.

Along with masks, some people use face shields to protect eyes, nose and mouth simultaneously from the risk of direct contact with germs. It is advisable to wear a face shield if you are in a profession that requires you to meet a lot of people or you are not able to maintain physical distance.Studies show that additional eye protection decreases transmission. Shields can also be a reminder not to touch your face.

A face shield is usually attached to the forehead with the help of an elastic band.
